Meet Dr. Anthony F. Collins M.D.
Dr. Collins, a distinguished neurologist, established his practice in Decatur in June 1998 after serving at Cumberland Neurology in Oak Ridge, TN.
An alumnus of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, he was lauded as the Salutatorian of the 1989 cohort. His pursuit of medical excellence led him to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where he earned his Medical Degree. Further refining his skills, Dr. Collins undertook his internship and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
As a board-certified neurologist, he now helms the EMG Lab and Physical Therapy at Decatur Memorial Hospital and actively contributes as a member of the Stroke Team. His private practice is prominently located at 575 W. Hay Street in Decatur, and he extends his expertise to patients at Sara Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon.
